Boise Parks and Recreation would like your input for the future of an iconic city park.

The city will be hosting a community meeting June 9 at the Camel's Back for input on the future of the front side of the hill -- specifically the main chute, which is a short, but challenging hike up to the top of the hill. It's popular year round for park visitors (including in the winter when it becomes a sledder's paradise).

Efforts to restore the hill started in 2006. The city has allocated $115,000 to fund the effort. Design options for the chute will be presented at the meeting.

If folks are unable to attend the meeting, you can email your comments to tnorton@cityofboise.org or you can call 608-7635.
