Olivia Dunne is perhaps the most well-known college athlete in the United States and is part of the LSU Tigers women’s gymnastics team. Livvy’s talent and athletic ability on the bar, topped with her fame and charm on TikTok, make fans across the country gush over her.

In a 30-second TikTok clip, Livvy could be seen flipping between uneven bars at the 2023 SEC Championships. She scored a season-high 9.850 and helped her college with a third-place finish in the tournament. Following this, LSU Tigers will now be moving on to the NCAA Regionals.

The video was captioned “Living the dream,” and surely, Livvy’s contribution to the team helped her team secure this position. The SEC Championship was won by Florida, followed by Alabama as the first runner’s up.

Olivia Dunne helps LSU Tigers secure a place at the NCAA Regionals

Olivia Dunne is over the moon as she helps her team secure a berth for the NCAA Regionals. The Tigers have been seeded No.2 in the NCAA Championship’s Denver Regional, beginning March 31. Currently, LSU is ranked No.6 in the United States for gymnastics.

Speaking of this, coach Jay Clark says, “We’re always disappointed when we know we left things on the floor, but the other part of that is that they continued to show their fight and their grit. Our score was consistent with what’ve done all year. Given the circumstances, I am just proud of their continued fight. Now, we move onto regionals.”

Olivia Dunne has been injured for quite a while this season. However, she is expected to play a key role in the Tigers’ campaign for making it to the Championships. LSU will be competing against No. 14 Denver, No. 3 Michigan, No. 11 Oregon State, Georgia, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Arizona.

Olivia Dunne’s popularity is beyond the realm of her athletic abilities, as she has a massive following on social media. The NCAA has relaxed on the NIL regulations, which has allowed Livvy to gain massive advantage for herself.

Livvy has said that NIL has ‘changed her life.’ She now earns more than a million through her social media presence. However, not everything comes sweet with this massive popularity that she is currently enjoying.

Dunne encountered fan hooliganism and fanaticism over the past two months in 2023. There have been cases where Livvy fans insulted other athletes at Utah State and Kentucky. The LSU team and coach Jay Clark had to take higher security measures to prevent getting mobbed by large crowds of fans.

Time and again, Livvy has addressed the issue of fanaticism to her fans and has asked them to behave respectfully. There have been instances wherein the fans adhered to Dunne’s request. However, there is no guarantee on when things can turn south at any given moment. ]
