Grayson Allen and his wife Morgan Reid both took to social media on Wednesday to respond to his inclusion in a three-team NBA trade centered around Damian Lillard.
After a lot of hoopla over whether or not the Portland Trail Blazers would send Lillard to the Miami Heat, the league was thrown off its axis this week when Portland instead shipped him off to Milwaukee.
In order to make the transaction work Allen, Jusuf Nurkic, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson were sent to the Phoenix Suns; Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, a 2029 unprotected Bucks first-rounder and unprotected Bucks swap rights in 2028 and 2030 went to the Blazers; and Lillard, obviously, went to Milwaukee.
After the dust settled, Allen took to social media to react.

As one might expect, given Allen’s history, he didn’t receive a ton of sympathy from fans.

Allen wasn’t the only person who posted a message on social media in the aftermath, though. His wife did the same.
This isn’t the first time Allen’s wife found herself in the headlines. She previously set the internet ablaze for her wild beach day photos.
Plus, there is also just her standard fare social media output. It never disappoints.
Big picture, it will be interesting to see how Allen does in Phoenix.
He is a good glue guy for title contenders, as proven during his Bucks stint, so he should provide the Suns with some much-needed depth.

That said, it really wouldn’t be all that shocking to see him get lost in the rotation either.
What sort of influence will Allen have on the Suns’ championship aspirations in 2023? Time will tell.
